On November 5, 2004 Sanofi-Synthelabo’s Eloxatin™ (oxaliplatin for injection) received US FDA approval for use in combination with conventional chemotherapy (5-flurouracil and leukovorin) for the postsurgical treatment of stage III colon cancer patients.
